You select your stone slab from our supplier's inventory (or we source specifically for your project). For granite and quartzite, viewing the actual slabs is important — the appearance varies significantly between slabs of the same variety. We bring samples to your home or facilitate a visit to the stone yard. Thickness is typically 2cm (3/4") or 3cm (1.25") — 3cm is standard for outdoor kitchen countertops due to weight and impact resistance.
Your template is used to cut the stone at our fabrication facility using a CNC water jet saw. Edge profiles (eased, bullnose, ogee, or custom) are cut and polished.
